Print Entries - how to pay

This page is for entrants who are submitting prints, and who are not able to pay by cheque or who would prefer to pay by credit card. This is especially good news for many international entrants, as it saves you the cost of international money orders etc.

We are using PayPal to provide this service, but you do not need a PayPal account to make your payment. If you do want to set up a PayPal account, this can be done easily and quickly online and you will be guided through this process when you make your payment. If you already have a PayPal account you can make the payment using this account simply by logging in when asked to do so. And if you don't have a PayPal account and don't want to open one, you can enter your credit or debit card details into the secure server when asked.

What do you need to do?

To pay your entry fee online, calculate the number of categories entered. The entry fee is £15 for each entry in a Portfolio category and £10 for entry in One Shot or First Shot. Each Portfolio, One Shot or First Shot submission counts as a separate category entry.

On the table below, click the 'Add to Basket’ button next to the type of category you are entering i.e. One Shot, Portfolio or New Talent. This will open up your shopping cart in PayPal to begin the payment. Now change the 'quantity (qty)' if you wish to enter the same type of category more than once. Add the total number for each type of category that you wish to enter to your shopping cart. If you want to enter a category more than once, count each one as a separate entry on the shopping cart page – so, for example, if you’re entering Joy of Travel twice and Life once, you will need to put ‘3’ in the quantity box for Portfolio categories. You can then click the ‘continue shopping’ button if you need to enter payment for an entry or entries into One Shot or First Shot.

Once you are sure you have recorded all the entries, click 'Checkout'. Now simply follow the instructions on screen.

RETURN POSTAGE – If you would like your images returned then, if you cannot supply a return envelope with the appropriate UK postage stamps on it, you must include a suitably-sized envelope addressed to yourself and pay for return postage online. You can calculate the exact amount by visiting the UK Royal Mail website at www.royalmail.com and following the link to 'Postal Prices', followed by 'International airmail'. PLEASE NOTE, WE CANNOT ACCEPT INTERNATIONAL POSTAGE COUPONS.

Paying for your return international postage is slightly complicated, as all the amounts will be different. So, when you click on 'Buy Now' by the Return Postage box below, you'll be taken to a separate PayPal page, which is ONLY for you to enter the amount of your return postage. Once you know how much your return postage will cost, please enter that amount into the special PayPal postage page that will open when you click Buy Now. This will generate a separate payment to us that simply covers the postage cost. If you want your images returned by any special service - eg International Signed For - or you have calculated your return postage on the basis of Small Packet (the cheapest option for Air Mail!), please write the details on your entry form. Your entry fee will be covered in the main PayPal shopping cart page.
